2007 Winter Trail Run Series race dates :
Jan. 27th - 12k
Feb. 10th - 15k
Feb. 24th - 18k
Mar. 10th - 21k
April 7th - 50k (San Juan Trail 50k)

The Location: Blue Jay Campground, Cleveland National Forest, Ca. - 21miles inland on the Ortega Hwy. (Rte. 74) from Interstate 5 in San Juan Capistrano. Turn left to Blue Jay Campground, follow the signs. For not-so-detailed map, click here.

Start time: All races 8:30am, following trail briefing.

The Courses: 7.5 to 31 miles. Varying looped courses on trails in the Cleveland National Forest. Between 3,000-4,000 ft. elevation. Marked with yellow ribbon and white arrows.

Entry Fee: $25 pre-entry, $30 race day. Sorry, no refunds. Official race t-shirts for $10. Free if you enter 2 or more races. Save money by entering the first 4 races for only $80. (50k entry fee separate. - $55 before 3/31/07)

Aid Stations: 21k race only. We suggest you carry a water bottle if you feel you will need it.

Awards: 3 deep, men and women, plus special individual age group awards.

Weather: Always Magic...Come prepared! Lows average 45 degrees in the AM, highs 70.

General Info: All vehicles must display a day-parking permit issued by the Forest Service, park in designated areas only! Please, no pets - leave your pets at home! Those wanting to bring a picnic lunch, please do so. We can all enjoy a magic day in the woods.
