Feet First Promotions welcomes you back to Southern California trails! Saddleback Marathon 2006 race
date : The Location: Blue Jay Campground, Cleveland National Forest, Ca. - 21miles inland on the Ortega Hwy. (Rte. 74) from Interstate 5 in San Juan Capistrano. Turn left to Blue Jay Campground, follow the signs. For not-so-detailed map, click here. The Course: 26.2 miles. Tough scenic forest trails and fire roads through the Cleveland National Forest, between 2,000-3,500 elevation. Time limit: 8 hours. Entry Fee: $45 before September 28th, add $20 thereafter. Sorry, no refunds. T-shirts for all pre-registrants, or as available on race day. Aid Stations: 5 well stocked stations with all the water, coke and goodies you'll need. We suggest you carry water between aid stations. Awards: Overall winners and age groups. Awards presentation after 1:00pm, be sure to stay for the world-famous raffle! Weather: Always Magic...Come prepared! Lows average 55 degrees in the AM, highs 75. General Info: All entrants will receive further race information including course map.
